Infinite Vehicle Sales Ltd is a trade vehicle disposal centre based in Alfreton, Derbyshire and Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. We specialise in selling trade vehicles through our transparent Dutch auction trade system. All vehicles are clearly marked using our colour-coded grading system so buyers can immediately understand the preparation level, condition, and sale terms before purchase.

Dutch Auction – How It Works
A Dutch auction begins at a fixed starting price which reduces in controlled increments until a buyer accepts it.
Example:
A vehicle may start at £6,000. If unsold, the price may reduce to £5,000. The first buyer to accept the current price secures the vehicle.
This system gives buyers flexibility:
• Wait for a lower price
• Act quickly before another buyer accepts
Dutch auctions are transparent, competitive, and widely regarded as a fair method for trade vehicle sales.

Our Colour-Coded Vehicle System
🟠 Amber Vehicles – Trade / Value Stock
• Older and/or higher-mileage vehicles not prepared for retail use
• Sold as seen under Dutch auction trade terms
• May be roadworthy or unroadworthy — buyers must inspect before purchase
• No warranty from Infinite Vehicle Sales Ltd
• Finance not available
• Buyer responsible for inspecting the vehicle before purchase
🔴 Red Vehicles – Trade / Clearance Stock
• May include non-runners, MOT failures, vehicles with faults, or vehicles for spares/repairs
• Sold strictly as seen under Dutch auction trade terms
• No warranty or finance available
• Typically unroadworthy — must be recovered, not driven away

Important Information for Trade Purchases
• All Amber and Red vehicles are sold as seen, strictly on trade terms.
• No warranty, guarantee, or implied terms of satisfactory quality or fitness for purpose apply.
• Vehicles must be physically viewed (by the buyer or their representative) or an inspection waiver must be signed before payment is accepted.
• Buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect vehicles thoroughly, including bringing a mechanic or knowledgeable companion.
• Viewings are available during business hours by appointment; purchases must be completed within these hours.
• If multiple buyers wish to purchase at the same time, the vehicle will be offered to the highest paying buyer.
• Infinite Vehicle Sales Ltd does not guarantee vehicle mileage. An odometer reading will be recorded at sale, but buyers must carry out their own checks.

Legal Notice
In accordance with UK trading standards and auction law:
• Any vehicle displaying an Amber or Red trade sticker is sold as seen, on trade terms only.
• The sales invoice will clearly outline these trade terms.
• All buyers must read and sign a Trade Sale Invoice & Terms and Conditions prior to completion.
• Implied terms under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (including satisfactory quality and fitness for purpose) do not apply to Dutch auction trade transactions.
• Under Section 2 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, buyers of second-hand goods at a public or trade auction who have had the opportunity (even if declined) to inspect the goods are not classed as consumers.
• Standard consumer protections (refunds, repair, replacements, rights to reject) do not apply to Dutch auction trade sales.
• All sales are final once the vehicle leaves our premises.

Returns Policy
By completing a purchase under trade terms, the buyer agrees that:
• No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted once the vehicle has left our site.
• In exceptional circumstances where a return is accepted at our discretion, return fees will apply (as outlined on the Trade Terms form).

Warranty Disclaimer – Amber Vehicles
Some Amber vehicles may include a complimentary third-party warranty as a promotional offer.
Important information:
• Amber vehicles remain sold as seen under trade terms.
• Any complimentary warranty is provided by an independent warranty company, not Infinite Vehicle Sales Ltd.
• All claims, enquiries, and eligibility assessments must be made directly with the warranty provider.
• Infinite Vehicle Sales Ltd accepts no responsibility for claim outcomes or warranty decisions.
• Buyers must comply with the warranty provider’s published terms, including servicing and claim procedures.
• The inclusion of a complimentary warranty does not change the trade sale classification or alter the sale terms.

Limitation of Liability:
Infinite Vehicle Sales Ltd shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or expenses incurred as a result of purchasing or using our vehicles. This includes, but is not limited to, any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from vehicle defects or malfunctions.

UNROADWORTHY AND DEFECTIVE VEHICLES
The Buyer agrees that if a Vehicle:
is in such a condition (whether by reason of its construction, the state of its brakes, steering, tyres, lighting equipment, reflectors or other parts) that it is unroadworthy or cannot otherwise be used lawfully on a road; and/or does not have a valid Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency MOT test certificate or plating document or any other document required by law, then the Buyer will not use the Vehicle on any road or remove it under its own power from the place at which it is located at the time of the Auction until it is roadworthy, can be used lawfully on the road and has all necessary documents.
